The Lot-et-Garonne is alive with activity between 1st July and 31st August.  During this period every town and village has something going on from time to time:  concerts, fetes, exhibitions, vide greniers’, festivals, night-markets,  indeed much too much to see in one summer even if you live here permanently! 

If you want to sample the real flavour of southwest France then these are truly the things to  experience because they are not something put on for the benefit of tourists, they are organised for local people by local people and are part of our summer life here, all summer, every summer.
